co2 6The 26 January of 2012 in Moscow Center of the Carnegie in the building of the Business center "Gallery Actor" took place the session of the round table on the theme of "Climate policy after Durban: prospects for the Russian economy".

The event was organized by Carnegie Moscow center together with the Institute of Fritjof Nansen.

In the discussion took part the members of the united NATIONS development Programme (UNDP), the residents of the energy research Institute of the Russian academy of sciences (RAS), representatives of the Russian union of industrialists and entrepreneurs (RSPP). Also were  invited delegates from the World wildlife fund (WWF Russia), the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Russian federation (Russian Foreign Ministry), and the Institute of Fritj of Nansen.
From the International Sustainable Energy Development Centre under the auspices of UNESCO (ISEDC) in the meeting participated the head of the department of strategic planning and partnership Vladimir Berdin.
In the course of the meeting there were discussed such issues as the situation of emissions in Russia up to 2020, the consequences for the Russian business after talks in Durban, the effectiveness of the Kyoto-2, as well as the prospects for Russia of the global climate agreement, etc.
